Konvent release Firesky – their third death-doom metal album

Danish death-doom metal band Konvent released their third studio album Firesky on November 6, 2026, via Napalm Records. The five-track record follows Puritan Masochism (2020) and Call Down the Sun (2022).

The tracklist comprises Exorcise, Scorning, In the Unknown, Firesky and Postludium. Mai Soon Young Øvlisen contributes to the title track. According to the label, the new material expands the group’s weighty death-doom foundation with longer compositions, greater dynamic range and black metal influences.

Jacob Bredahl produced and recorded the album at Antfarm Studios and handled the mix at Dead Rat Studios. Brad Boatright mastered it at Audiosiege, while Nona Limmen created the cover artwork.

The official Konvent Bandcamp page features the album and its available tracks. Firesky represents a further development of the Copenhagen band’s dark, heavy arrangements, rather than a move away from their death-doom roots.
