Swedish melodic black/death metal band Hyperion released Elysia on November 6, 2026, via Willowtip Records. The record is available digitally, on CD and as a double LP. It marks the band’s first full-length album in approximately a decade, following Seraphical Euphony.
The album contains ten tracks, including “Nefarious Sacrament of the Immorals,” “Iliou Persis,” and closing piece “The Primordial Wellspring.” The total running time is approximately 73 minutes. The full tracklist and available editions are listed on Hyperion’s official Bandcamp page.
According to the band, Elysia was recorded between 2020 and 2023 at Wing Studios, Studio Forlorn Halls, and other recording locations. Sverker Widgren mixed and mastered the material at Wing Studios during 2023–2024. The main cover art is credited to Khaos Diktator.
The musicians describe Elysia as an ambitious continuation of their work: while distinct from the debut, it retains elements of Hyperion’s musical identity. The album can be heard and its CD and vinyl editions explored through the band’s official Bandcamp and Willowtip Records.
