THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT release single 'My Future Prediction' via Better Noise Music

THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT have released a new song titled 'My Future Prediction' via Better Noise Music; the announcement presents it as the Atlanta collective's first official release of 2026 and says the official music video will make its online debut next week.

Vocalist Lee Jennings describes the song as: "'My Future Prediction' is about convincing yourself that a relationship is perfect, even when every warning sign is telling you otherwise." The band’s statement characterizes the track as blending alternative, emo, post‑hardcore and rock into a theatrical sound that builds toward a chantable chorus.

'My Future Prediction' arrives amid the band's ongoing campaign: earlier in 2026 they released the live album Live From Suffocate City, which documents their sold‑out "Suffocate City Town Hall Meeting" at The Masquerade in Atlanta in 2025. The original Greetings From Suffocate City album appeared in September 2024 and a deluxe edition was issued in June 2025 (24 tracks, with guest appearances including Bert McCracken and Ivan Moody). The announcement also lists touring plans through the end of 2026, including arena dates with Three Days Grace in November and a post‑holiday European run supporting Black Veil Brides.
