Marty Friedman releases '2 Rebeldes (Spanish Vocal)' – Hal‑Ca to sing on his Latin American tour

Marty Friedman has released the single "2 Rebeldes (Spanish Vocal)", a Spanish‑language version of a track from his solo album Drama. Blabbermouth.net notes that Drama was released in May 2024 via Frontiers Music Srl and that this Spanish vocal cut has been issued as a single.

In the report Friedman describes "2 Rebeldes" as a "love letter" to Latin countries and states that Hal‑Ca of ASTERISM will sing the song with him during his Latin American tour. The announcement names Hal‑Ca and ASTERISM specifically as part of the live plan.

The blabbermouth.net item lists Friedman's touring schedule: a South American tour described as happening "this month" to mark the 34th anniversary of his album Scenes; an appearance at the Hero rock festival in Korea in December; two Los Angeles shows on January 28 and 29; and a European leg in April 2027. The piece adds that the Drama world tour will continue into additional territories.

The article also cites a recent VRP Rocks interview in which Friedman called Drama his most personal album and said he is writing new material with a "plan of attack," without announcing release dates. It also notes his autobiography Dreaming Japanese was published on December 3, 2024 via Permuted Press.
