Los Angeles industrial rockers HEALTH wrote two original songs for the new Street Fighter movie – "NEGATIVE EDGE" and "BRAINROT" – now streaming. The film opened in theaters on October 16.
According to ThePRP.
Los Angeles industrial rock outfit HEALTH have released two new tracks written specifically for the latest Screen adaptation of Street Fighter. The songs arrived as the film opened in theaters on October 16.
The pair of songs are titled "NEGATIVE EDGE" and "BRAINROT" and reportedly include samples drawn from the classic fighting franchise. HEALTH said these are original pieces composed expressly for the movie and framed the work as a soundtrack‑style approach, citing other film soundtracks such as Men In Black, Wild Wild West and Demolition Man as reference points. The announcement appeared on the band’s Instagram.
The new material ties HEALTH’s abrasive, electronic-tinged sound directly to the film’s audio identity, and both tracks are now available to stream. The releases function as a band-crafted supplement to the movie rather than preexisting songs repurposed for the soundtrack.
