EVA UNDER FIRE Share Music Video for New Song 'Starshine'

Detroit hard rock band EVA UNDER FIRE have released a new single and official music video titled 'Starshine', issued through Better Noise Music. The release follows the band’s summer and fall run supporting Five Finger Death Punch across U.S. arenas and amphitheaters, as noted in the announcement.

'Starshine' is described in the release as built on booming, stadium-ready drums and a hummable guitar lead around Amanda Lyberg’s soulful yet commanding vocals. The article quotes lyric lines – "In the shadows, I'm a prisoner of my own head" and "I'm in the starshine losing time" – and includes Lyberg’s direct line: "When you're up at 3 a.m. and can't sleep because something feels off… that's the 'Starshine'", which she frames as a reflection on post-tour blues and memories from the road.

The single is presented alongside EVA UNDER FIRE’s recent album Villainous, which the release notes features a guest appearance from Maria Brink of In This Moment, and the band’s earlier records such as Love, Drugs & Misery and the single 'Unstoppable' with Cory Marks. The announcement also references the band’s streaming and soundtrack presence (for example, 'Blow' with Spencer Charnas on The Retaliators soundtrack and 'Heroin(e)' in Sno Babies) and states that Lyberg’s background as a licensed psychotherapist informed the recording process.
