On SiriusXM's Trunk Nation (transcribed by Blabbermouth.net), Kevin Martin said he reversed his decision to stop making full‑length records: Candlebox plan a new album for next year; the single "Still Running" is due in December and "I Remember Everything" was released in September.
According to Blabbermouth.
Kevin Martin told SiriusXM's Trunk Nation on October 28 (transcribed by Blabbermouth.net) that he has changed his mind about stopping full‑length records – "We're doing it." He linked the reversal to guitarist Peter Klett's return and the chemistry the band rediscovered after announcing the earlier "farewell" tour "The Long Goodbye."
Martin named concrete releases: the September single "I Remember Everything" is the first Candlebox track to feature Klett since the 2012 album "Love Stories & Other Musings." According to the interview transcription, the single was produced by Kemble Walters at Good Noise Studio and mastered by Jeremy Costa at Backward Clock Sound Studio.
He said Klett rejoined midway through a tour following invitations to play with Bush and Jerry Cantrell, they began jamming and recorded three songs with Walters. Martin said the next single, "Still Running," will come out in December and that the full‑length is due "some time next year," noting a cited production cost of $70,000–$80,000 and management encouragement to release an album.
