Anika Nilles launches limited EVANS x ProMark collection – thicker-diameter signature sticks and EVANS Black Chrome heads

Anika Nilles has teamed with EVANS and ProMark to release a limited artist collection. The announcement describes a limited run of premium percussion gear, many pieces carrying original artwork created by Nilles herself.

The collection lists a special edition ProMark Anika Nilles signature drumstick – her signature profile with an increased diameter to add power – plus a matching EVANS Black Chrome drumhead pack. According to the release, the gear will be sold via daddario.com, where an exclusive digital bundle combining the sticks and heads is offered; buyers of that bundle will earn an extra 1,000 Players Circle rewards points.

The announcement also places the release in the context of Nilles’s profile: from early YouTube success to tours with Jeff Beck and, the release states, filling in for the late Neil Peart on RUSH’s "Fifty Something" tour. Nilles is quoted in the release: "Drumheads are like a canvas to me. I love drawing and doodling on them…" and she says the thicker stick diameter was chosen to "add energy and bring the power the band needs."
